In response to interest from Trecker Library users, a new 55 seat Group Study space has opened on the Library’s upper floor. Formerly a book stacks area, the room is a wireless “hot spot” which will allow library patrons with wireless-capable laptops full access to the library’s online resources.
Group Study spaces are designed for noise. Students doing team projects or needing to talk while studying will find this area, and some adjacent smaller spaces, an ideal location to work together without disturbing those who need quiet.
Anyone requiring a quiet space will find the library’s largest reading room, on the main floor, set aside for noise-free activities. This room also hosts wireless service.
Stop by our “front desk” when you have a chance and let us know how you like (or not) our group and quiet study spaces.
