This is a joint initiative sponsored by LARRP, (Latin Americanist Research Resources Project) a CRL Project.<\/p>\n<p>See the <a href=\"http:\/\/rdl.lib.uconn.edu\/databases\/1529\"><font color=\"#336699\">Latin American Newsstand<\/font><\/a> in the ERM, and check out the <a href=\"http:\/\/proquest.umi.com\/pqdweb?RQT=317&amp;SQ=*&amp;vDBID=4718\"><font color=\"#336699\">title list<\/font><\/a> from ProQuest.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"post-title entry-title\">Mintel Reports<\/h3>\n<p class=\"post-body entry-content\">We now have access to <a href=\"http:\/\/rdl.lib.uconn.edu\/databases\/1528\"><font color=\"#336699\">Mintel Reports<\/font><\/a>, a great market research tool! The Mintel Reports database contains full-text market research reports covering US and Global consumer markets, with an emphasis on European and US markets. Each report analyzes market share, segmentation, and trends along with providing comprehensive demographic profiles and consumer patterns. It covers the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>automotive<\/li>\n<li>beauty, personal goods and toiletries<\/li>\n<li>clothing, footwear, accessories<\/li>\n<li>consumer lifestyles, marketing, promotion<\/li>\n<li>drink and tobacco<\/li>\n<li>electrical goods<\/li>\n<li>food and foodservice<\/li>\n<li>health and wellbeing<\/li>\n<li>holidays and travel<\/li>\n<li>household\/house and home<\/li>\n<li>industrial<\/li>\n<li>leisure time<\/li>\n<li>lifestages<\/li>\n<li>media, books, stationery<\/li>\n<li>miscellaneous<\/li>\n<li>personal finances<\/li>\n<li>retail<\/li>\n<li>technology\/telecoms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Upon the first login to Mintel, you will be required to register with your email address and select your own password. Once you have registered, Mintel creates a user profile where you can save and later retrieve your searches. All reports are keyword searchable and one can download or print individual sections or entire reports.
