This meeting will focus on topics related to GIS and the 2010 U.S. Census and will feature presenters from the U.S. Census Boston Regional Office. This meeting will be held in the Information Technology Building Room 104 at the University of Connecticut Greater Hartford Campus. Included below is a tentative outline:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Tentative Outline<\/span><\/p>\n<p>9:00-9:15am \u2013 Introductions<\/p>\n<p>9:15 \u2013 9:45am \u2013 Locating 2010 Census Data using the New American FactFinder<\/p>\n<p>9:45 \u2013 10:00am \u2013 Tips and Tricks<\/p>\n<p>10:00 \u2013 10:15am \u2013 Networking<\/p>\n<p>10:15 \u2013 10:45am \u2013 Using 2010 Shapefiles and joining data from the 2010 Census<\/p>\n<p>10:45 \u2013 11:00am \u2013 Break<\/p>\n<p>11:00 \u2013 11:45am \u2013 American Community Survey and comparing ACS with 2010 Census data<\/p>\n<p>11:45am \u2013 12:00pm \u2013 Question and Answer Session<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Parking and Navigating Campus<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Parking is available for free in the visitor lot at the corner of Ayslum Ave and Trout Brook Drive in West Hartford, CT. Once on campus, the Information Technology Center is a short walk from the Parking Lot.
