{"id":308,"date":"2013-12-18T02:49:49","date_gmt":"2013-12-18T02:49:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.lib.uconn.edu\/staffnews\/?p=308"},"modified":"2013-12-18T02:49:49","modified_gmt":"2013-12-18T02:49:49","slug":"247-hours-in-babbidge-extended","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.lib.uconn.edu\/staffnews\/2013\/12\/18\/247-hours-in-babbidge-extended\/","title":{"rendered":"24\/7 hours in Babbidge extended"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Based on feedback received from the Undergraduate Student Government\u2019s Academic Affairs Committee and gate count statistics from 2012, the Homer Babbidge Library extended its 24\/7 hours this fall semester.\u00a0 Starting on December 2<sup>nd<\/sup>, the flagship library in the UCL system opened its doors and did not close until 6pm on Sunday, December 15<sup>th<\/sup>, for a total of 330 hours.\u00a0 The additional hours between 2-8am of pre-finals week amounted to another 1,488 patrons able to study in the library.
