\nThe Cloisters, the medieval division of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.<\/p>\n
\nvarious European medieval sites imported in the early 20th century. The collection includes works of art, sculpture, manuscripts — set in a lovely garden environment.

\nwill be accompanied to and from NYC, which will include traveling on NYC subways and buses (please be
\naware that this trip involves considerable walking and not all spaces are fully accessible). At The Cloisters,
\nyou will receive an hour lecture by an art historian and then have free time to explore the museum and
\ngardens. We will return to Stamford by the early evening. You may wish to pack a lunch or snacks.
