This afternoon the Libraries Windows servers are currently under a severe hacker attack.

Please be aware that the Libraries’ digital collection will not be available. And also the printing capabilities at the JRL library have halted. We are unable to print via CASH or CARD.

Please use the Microlab located at Room 3.05.

Visual Search is a new and innovative way to search EBSCOhost. Your results are sorted by TOPIC in an interactive, visual map. Check It Out!

Intercampus Requests Lost (ICE)

ICE (Intercampus Express) requests made March 5- have unfortunately been lost because of server problems that the library is experiencing. Please request any materials from other libraries with the ILL (Interlibrary Loan) option.

Library Email

Some access to email for the Libraries has been restored, but it appears that all email from Sunday and Monday is permanently lost.

UITS has created a workaround that will enable the Libraries to access email from the UITS servers for the next few weeks. http://wiki.lib.uconn.edu/wiki/ITSKB:_Temporary_Mail_Workaround

Network Problems Today

The library is experiencing network problems today. The following digital collections or web sites are not currently available: Colonial Connecticut Records, IPANE, Benthic Marine Algal Herbarium of Long Island, and Digital Collections Online.

The Jeremy Richard Library staff is currently unable to access email, so if you need to reach us, Please call our Circulation Desk at 203.251.9599.
