Stamford Campus Center for Judaic & Middle Eastern Studies

The Center for Judaic & Middle Eastern Studies at UConn-Stamford will begin its Lunch & Learn Series, “Encounters with History: Major Events and the Fates of Individuals,” on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 12:00 noon in the UConn-Stamford Gen Re Auditorium. 

The Series will begin with distinguished guest speaker Professor Nechama Tec, whose book, Defiance: The Bielski Partisans, has recently been produced as a major motion picture directed by Edward Zwick, and starring Daniel Craig.

One Library Copier -Out of Order

Attention Everyone;

One of the libraries Copiers is out of order for the time being. We currenlty have one operating copier using CASH only (not the One Card). We are sorry for the Inconvenience it has caused everyone. We will inform you when it is up and running again.

New Shuttle Bus Service to/from Stamford Train Station effective 9/29/08

The UConn Stamford Campus will offer the FREE shuttle service to and from the Stamford Train Station with a new 24 passenger shuttle bus, effective Monday, September 29.  The new shuttle bus will offer service on Monday through Thursday, beginning each day at 7:00 a.m.  with pick up at the train station, and concluding each day at 10:30 p.m., with a last run to the train station.  The new shuttle bus replaces the shuttle van that is currently offering rides to and from the train station.

 

Note: The bus driver will ask each rider to present a UConn ID card.  Please be prepared to show your UConn ID card to the driver as you enter the vehicle.  The shuttle bus makes stops ONLY at the Stamford Campus and the Stamford Train Station.
