A good way to troubleshoot Vista problems is to go to http://vista.uconn.edu/ and click “Run a Browser Check.”
(URL vista.uconn.edu no longer exists- go to huskyct.uconn.edu)
This browser check will ensure that your browser is configured so the complete functionality of Vista is available to you. Once you run the check, you will see various areas that are either checked or crossed off and recommended changes will be indicated. A frequent problem for users occurs when pop-up windows are disabled; Vista requires that pop ups be enabled.

There will be network outages in several areas of the campus first floor tomorrow, Wednesday, August 9, 2006. All of the Jeremy Richard Library’s computer stations will not be accessible from 10:00-5:00 pm for a network upgrade. Students should use the Academic Computing Area (aka Microlab, Room 305).
All of the libraries resources are still accessible from the library homepage www.lib.uconn.edu and via Virtual Private Network (VPN).
Friday, August 11th and 18th have been designated as make-up dates. Faculty may choose one of those dates or make arrangements for another day/time. We urge you to consider the Friday dates; if you choose an alternate, please call the Registration Services office at 251-8504 to be sure a room is available. All classes must meet a minimum number of class hours during the summer sessions so please make the necessary arrangements to make up the class/es missed.
