The Storrs campus experienced a Power outage this afternoon at around 2PM. Thus we are experienceing some techinical problems with accessing the internet and library databases.

We hope to be back up and running again shortly.

Due to the severe weather conditions, the Stamford Campus is closing today at 11:45. All subsequent classes are cancelled for the day and evening.

We now have an exhibit case and poster to go with the James Daugherty WPA mural, School Activities. The exhibit contains before and after photos of the mural restoration, a book entitled Heroic America: James Daugherty’s mural drawings from the 1930’s, and children’s books. Daugherty was also an award-winning children’s book author and illustrator, and several of his books were found in the Dodd Center’s children’s literature collection. Come in and check it out!
