Power Outage January 14th & January 15th: impact to PeopleSoft

UConn Facilities must perform a power equipment replacement in the Gant Science Complex buildings. In order to accomplish this, power must be shut off.

The power outage is estimated to be 12 hours in duration, beginning on Thursday, January 14th, at 5:00PM and returning power to the building Friday, January 15th around 7:00AM.

UITS will bring down the PeopleSoft student administration system. The system will come offline on Thursday at 5:00PM and remain offline until power is restored and systems can be brought back up. This includes both the development and production PeopleSoft systems.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, but the repair is necessary.
