Cash Printing at the Library –$0.15 cents

Printing costs are now $.15 cents if your’re paying cash for your print jobs. You will need to select FILE>>PRINT>>CASH_B&W from the print dialoque box drop down menu. All cash printouts are to be picked up at the Circulation desk.

You can also use your UConn Student ID (Husky One Card) for your print jobs, FILE>>PRINT>>CARD_B&W for just $.10 cents per page. All printouts using your Student ID card can be picked up at the Reference Desk Printing Station.

You can place money (Husky Bucks) on your ID card at the Stamford Co-op store, next door to the library.

Guest Speaker: Marie T. Saddlemire, Doctor of Philosophy, Bowling Green State University, will summarize the results of her research on the complex and often contradictory definitions surrounding the concepts of plagigerism and academic dishonesty.

  • the nature of academic dishonesty
  • faculty socialization and responses to academic dishonesty
  • ways in which faculty can respond to cheating incidents

    UConn NetID Interface changes July 19th

    On Tuesday, July 19th, the University’s NETID Management System will be moving away from the use of social security numbers.

    How will this affect you?

    – To FIND YOUR NETID, you will need to enter your 8-DIGIT DATE OF BIRTH and either your STUDENT ADMIN SYSTEM (PeopleSoft) ID or PAYROLL NUMBER.

    – To RESET YOUR NETID PASSWORD, you will need to provide your NETID, the LAST 4-DIGITS of your SSN, and your 8-DIGIT DATE OF BIRTH.

    Online Survey Today 4-6pm

    Please be aware that between 4 pm and 6 pm, today, Wednesday, June 29, the UConn Libraries are conducting a electronic online survey. The print survey series, distributed in the Babbidge Library, concluded on June 18.

    This is the final survey (Web and print) in this series.

    Reserve Materials Pick Up

    The Reserve Department at Jeremy Richard Library will be clearing out old Reserve materials which we have stored here in the Library. If you have personal copies of books or journal articles that you will not be using in the Summer sessions or Fall, please stop by and pick them up.

    Please be aware that if materials are not picked up, journal articles will be discarded and books may be added to our Collection. Please stop by to look over your materials as soon as possible.
