DD/ILL Webpage Has Changed

The Document Delivery/Interlibrary Loan (DD/ILL) webpage has a new look, as well as new online book and article request forms.

In order to use the new forms, you will need to identify your university NetID. In addition, you will also need to use a password associated with your NetID. You can both find your NetID and create a NetID password at this location: https://netid.uconn.edu/

When you log on to use our new request forms with your NetID, your personal information will accompany any loan or photocopy request you make.

Once you have submitted your requests, log out of the application by clicking the Log Out button. Just as you do now, you will receive an email confirmation of each loan or document request you place with our new forms.

You can also track the progress of your requests by choosing the “View Articles Online” menu button. This button not only will allow you to view your new PDF documents, but it will also allow you to track the progress of the requests you place using our new forms.

If you have any questions about these new request forms, please contact us at udoc@uconn.edu

Forum on UCONN Institutional Repository

INSTITUTIONAL REPOSITORY COMES TO UCONN:
A Library Forum
March 22, 2005, 10:00-12:00
Konover Auditorium, Dodd Research Center
Speakers: Greg Tananbaum, President of Berkeley Electronic Press; Jonathan Nabe, head of the University Libraries pilot institutional repository for the University of Connecticut

Institutional repositories are web-based collections of digital items which showcase the writing, research and other intellectual output of a university community, potentially
including journal articles and research reports, monographs, working papers, dissertations, honors theses, data sets, and sound and video files. The UConn Libraries are embarking on a pilot project to implement an institutional repository for
the University of Connecticut, known as Digital Commons@University of Connecticut.

All are invited to the Library Forum as we discuss:

How can an institutional repository benefit you as a contributor and as a researcher?
What will it look like and how does it work? How will it be organized and who will manage it? Who will have access?

Please join us as speakers Tananbaum and Nabe discuss these and other topics regarding institutional repositories in general and the University of Connecticut Repository in
particular. Your questions and comments will be welcome.

Light refreshments will start off the program.

For further information, contact Jonathan Nabe,jonathan.nabe”at”uconn.edu, 860-486-6688.
