New Printing Procedures at the Library

Attention Faculty and Students,

The library and the Microlab are now charging for printing.

Printing costs
10¢ per page if using a One Card

15¢ per page if paying by Cash.

When printing from the Student Super Homer stations, click on “File” and from the menu choose either Card_B&W (for one card printing) OR Cash_B&W (for cash printing). Make note of the Station ID (5 digit alphanumeric ID on workstation) and go to the printer at the Reference desk and follow instructions for One Card; or if paying by cash go to the Circulation Desk to have your print job released.

Your UConn ID (“Husky One Card”) is your copy card. Also, Computer & Copy Services is not responsible for erroneous printing and cannot issue refunds. To avoid being charged for blank pages, cutoff text, etc. please use PRINT PREVIEW

Faculty members, please send your print jobs to the circulation desk printer as Cash_B&W and our staff will assist you.

Power Outage January 14th & January 15th: impact to PeopleSoft

UConn Facilities must perform a power equipment replacement in the Gant Science Complex buildings. In order to accomplish this, power must be shut off.

The power outage is estimated to be 12 hours in duration, beginning on Thursday, January 14th, at 5:00PM and returning power to the building Friday, January 15th around 7:00AM.

UITS will bring down the PeopleSoft student administration system. The system will come offline on Thursday at 5:00PM and remain offline until power is restored and systems can be brought back up. This includes both the development and production PeopleSoft systems.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, but the repair is necessary.
